She is terribly talented and underrated as a singer, amazingly versatile. I'm a total fan by now. Between Slapp Happy, Henry Cow and this I've still have had doubts if it's actually the same singer.

I got a CD of Dagmar Krause 20 or so years ago. It was all Brecht songs. In a moment of total stupidity and insanity, I gave it to a friend as a present. Since then I've been looking without success for her info and songs . Thrilling to see this. I hope more of her German songs will be around, too.

i don't know what it is that makes her so unique - i heard her in "in praise of learning", a few years ago, and fell under the spell - then i discovered "art bears", and so on... - she's marvellous ! thanks so much for that
