I just lost my daddy June 2,2015 . I played this for him on father's day a few years back. I regret every time I didn't call and every time I didn't go see him. I have a one year old daughter who's daddy passed away September 3,2014 so it's been very emotional and hard. I haven't had time to grieve neither death cause I have a beautiful daughter to teach the way of life. I just cried my eyes out. It hurts so bad. My dad didn't die but i wish he did because he left us when I was 3 years old and it hurts to think he is still alive and doesn't call me or doesn't come to me if he was dead i would've think at least he loved me but he is alive and...i cry everyday.he doesn't care about me and my little brother :(8 years ago

Lost my dad on May 4,2012. Im turning 18 now, and I never grew up with him. but he always visits me on my birthdays. The last time I saw him was in 2010 then all of a sudden I received a news that he's gone and worse I didn't even got the chance to see him on his funeral that's why until now it still hurts. :'(8 years ago

My Dad will be 88 years young in November, 2015. I spent today, Mother's Day with him and my step-mom. They are both in ill health and he talks as if he won't make it until his next birthday. He has been active and healthy until the last few months. This year has worn hard on him and he is growing frail, with signs of dementia. It just breaks my heart to see him decline. My Dad has always been my hero, my rock, my mentor, my friend and my advisor. I can't imagine life without him. I'm afraid and worried that his time is coming to and end. He is the only one left of my family of origin. My mom and brother have already passed on, which was devastating. All of the memories shared and the love exchanged becomes just that, memories. Please pray that my dad regains his health and sticks around a few more years. I will seriously lose myself when he goes.the good Lord will have to sustain me. Thank you for the song. It was bitter-sweet, but more sweet. How can I find the words in print?8 years ago
