They of course say "no" and we say, "that's because the cats will eventually always come down on their own. Just give it time." Some other departments may actually rescue cats, but not us :)

This is beautiful! I have a strong interest in what a firefighter's job is like, but I could never do it.I couldn't handle the stress.I appreciate everything all our emergency responders do.You guys are the best! And it pisses me off when people put you down.I work at a grocery store, and when the firemen come in to shop for groceries, I always thank them for their service.Their very nice fellows to, my store offers carry out service, so when I offer it, they always polite, but funny.One of them said "What would our chief say if he saw a young lady carrying out groceries for 3 firemen." He laughed, and then said "Thanks, Sweetie, but we got this!" Such a nice guy.

I'm fourteen I'm a junior fireman but I'm a fourth generation firefighter at first I wasn't sure if I wanted to do it but now looking back this past April I'm glad I did I've ran over60 or 70 calls since I began doing this and I'm proud of it, I'm proud of my great grandfather, my grandfather and my father who were all firemen before me and I'm glad that i have a chance to live up to them it is going to be a lot of work to fulfill my dream of becoming the cheif of the firecompany my greatgrandfather helped start over 80 years ago but I know I can do it
