Hands down my favorite cover of this song. it's dynamic and full of energy and razor sharp precision. I always come back to listen to this. I'm pretty sure I watch this video once every 5 months. Since 2009

Since I just mentioned DaVinci's Notebook in a +Stacy Frazer post, I think I'll just offer this up. Here, enjoy. It's awesome.

Pardon? What's the argument here, and how old is it? I just came on back and forgot all about my post. There is a gene for perfect pitch, it is in fact inborn. Perhaps you should go and look into it. There is no talent gene, there is inborn perfect pitch. Unless every college music professor I've had so far is a fool as well?

Actually, basically all research done into this shows it probably is genetic. While you can develop a very good sense of relative pitch, perfect/absolute pitch is not something you can learn after a certain time frame. Also, having perfect pitch appears to bear no correlation to one's ability to sing. Takeuchi, A. H. & Hulse, S. H. (1993). "Absolute pitch". Psychological Bulletin 113 (2): 358.

OneOfTheDarkness

look up cent in relation to music, it's a measurement of pitch bro

Zangamarth

You don't develop perfect pitch. No one does. You are born with it or not. You might've developed VERY good relative pitch, or realized you had it in marching band, but no one, I mean no one, develops perfect pitch. It's actually genetic.

a cent is the name of the measurement referring to if a pitch is intune or not go get a tuner if you actually play i can tell by my ear b/c i developed perfect pitch from marching band

Michael Johnson

Never heard the term "2 cents" flat or sharp, and have been singing/playing for over 30 years.

They used autotune, in this one instance. They said it in the liner notes. Just on the Aaah's. The rest? All done by ear, for an impressive effect.
