The track that REALLY started it all. The first glimpse of Devante's Bassment Crew (Mr. Brendal, Boogieman, Action, Suga, Playa, Reebok, Timbaland, Ginuwine & Magoo & after Missy split) for the remix to "Gin & Juice" off the Dangerous Minds soundtrack (the one Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise" earned it a triple platinum plaque). Especially nostalgic for me, as I was there along the East River in Brooklyn while they filmed scenes for this video. All of those cars WERE Devante's! Peep the Lamborghini Jeep!

Devante is a a genius.. He really started the change of R&B.. He found Static,Tweet,Ginuwine,Timbaland,Magoo Missy Elliot... They all branched off to do their own thing later but Devante is the one that helped put them on the map.. Too bad things didn't end well with him though..

Devante is one reason I am a Minister of Music now. Thinking back, I was able to shed with him on several occasions and he was very complementary and encouraging about my tracks. Imaging meeting your Idol and they like your stuff
