It's been more than two decades since I first saw this dope video by the M.C. from the Bronx!! Yes, he laid out the rhymes like many other East Coast acts did!!!

D Nice would have taken out a lot of these new jax if he came out now. @ the haters - This was the '90's idiots, please keep that in perspective. Who's your favorite? Drake? Eminem? I feel sorry for you guys who don't know any better and are fed this watered down , industry version of "Rap Music". I have seen the rise and steady decline of something I strongly love. I rarely listen to anything past 2002. Reply if you like. I place ALL responses in the trash without opening..

I'd rather listen to Janelle Monae, Maroon 5 or Nirvana over this fruitcake pop hop shit on the radio nowadays. At least artists like that are being themselves. These new school rappers are all puppet gimmicks fags and lesbos with autotune effects. At least we have the gloden era of hip hop to still vibe too.

Special Ed, Big Daddy Kane, and others were about the lyrical presentation. This was in the Metaphoric Rap genre if such a genre existed (officially or not.)

Not only that, these new rappers are mostly feminine and fruity. Few have any real lyrical skill and even then the production usually overshadows the emcee.
