Not many people have the opportunity to grow up on a farm anymore, especially one of such mystery and treasure as featured in the New Video for the Song "Home" written and performed by Singer/Rapper D.Earl, with the first cut off the up and coming album "Warriors", Take a glimpse into a world where D. Earl grew up and became a man of faith. The intro was filmed in an old shack up in Sautee- Nacoochee, Ga. with a cameo appearance by David L. McCord owner of the "Shack". The video begins as D.Earl is preaching in the Old Crescent Hill Baptist Church (Helen GA.) telling us of his start as a young farm boy wanting to make dad proud at all cost. Life on the farm included many tasks with throwing and hauling hay being no exception. The young ladies featured in the video swinging underneath the old oak tree are D.Earl's very own daughters Hannah and Acelyn. The classy Gentleman in the safari hat is Benny, D.Earl's father the owner of the farm, who always said "Son you can do better than this" he is accompanied by youngest grandson Gunnar riding along in the Vintage Willy's Jeep truck. The other Gentleman seen on the bench swing with Gunnar is none other than Great-Grandfather Earl who is a Gideon and and a true man of God. Of course this is who D. Earl takes his name in honor of being led to the Lord by him at the age of seven. The name Earl is Old English for Warrior and this describes Great-Grandfather Earl very well. The latch key kid scene is who D.Earl call his #1 one son, oldest son Ben who looks just like D.Earl did at age eleven. The Chorus scenes are filmed in a pasture near the homeplace and D.Earl used to dream that as far as these powerlines would reach he would reach people for the cause of Christ. The 1970 Monte Carlo on the old dirt road is very similiar to the one given to D.Earl upon graduating Boot Camp as a Marine, this scene is an illustration of the twists and turns of life and how fast it seems to go just like a fast car leaving behind a cloud of dust on an old dirt road. The Gentleman praying at the altar is Billy Webb a minister and friend who has helped make the journey for D.Earl possible. In the final moments of the video D.Earl's life is shown as a man who has worn many hats...Athlete, Marine, Police Officer, Singer, Preacher, but not for the Glory of D.Earl but to as a testimony to all the things God can bring a man through before he finally brings him to his true Home!

Favorite part is the little kid singing the chorus with his guitar. With the background it just takes me back to better times and nothing but love for nature and country life.
