51 years ago I saw LJB playing blues like Broonzy in a folkclub called Ballads and Blues. You have to hand it to those guys all they had to access the music was records. Not for them Arts council type grants just have a day job to get a few lessons and an instrument thereafter teach yourself with you and your mates. Hats off!!

Fantastic clip! The lady singers are certainly The Velvettes. They were also performing at the time at those legendary shindigs on the Eel Pie Island. What a scene!
