*** 21 YEARS OF EXCELLENT 3 DEGREES COMMITMENT !!! ***

In December 1989, Cynthia Garrison replaced Viki Wallace forming the longest running line-up of the Group!

In 1993, they were asked to record a new version of "When Will I See You Again" with Thomas Anders (of Modern Talking). He supplied three tracks for their album "Out of the Past, Into the Future", marking their return to Ariola Records and their most successful album for 15 years. From the album, 2 further singles were released: the re-recording of "Dirty Ol' Man" and a new song "Hurry, Hurry".

In 1996, they released a new best of album titled "Best & New Hits: When Will I See You Again" which included four re-recorded hits and 6 brand new songs.

A seasonal album, "Christmas With The Three Degrees", was also recorded in 1998.

Helen Scott, Valerie Holiday and Cindy Garrison continued to tour. In 2003, they made their first US TV appearance in over 20 years on the PBS show, "Rhythm, Love, and Soul" with Aretha Franklin, Lou Rawls and Mary Wilson of The Supremes.

They were also part of the 'Best Disco In Town 2004 Tour' with The Pointer Sisters, Chic, The Emotions, Boney M, Candi Staton and Evelyn "Champagne" King AND the 'Best Disco In Town 2007 Tour' with Rose Royce, Tavares, Odyssey, George McCrae and Shalamar.

In 2008, the ladies released the album "Helen, Valerie, Cynthia: The Greatest Hits" which included completely new recordings of the groups biggest hits and some fan favourites.

Together with founder member Fayette Pinkney (RIP June 27, 2009), the ladies received various honours during 2007 and 2008, through BEMA (The Black Entertainment and Music Association) and the City of Philadelphia for their contribution to music over five decades!!!

In 2009, The Three Degrees released their first studio album in over ten years, "Undercover 2009". It contained a selection of eight cover versions of classic songs by the likes of Abba, Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon and Bee Gees.

In 2010, The Three Degrees released a new single "Holding Back", with different mixes.

In January 2011, Freddie Pool replaced Cindy due to illness.

In 2013, another set of new remixes of "Holding Back" saw the light of day. This beautiful dance track is written & composed by Tony Power. He teamed up with Nik C., Marc Andrews, Scott Houzet and John Springate. Results: a Groovesisters mix (Nik C. & Scott Houzet), a Quartlock mix (Nik C. & Marc Andrews) and John Springate's ballad version.
