@silens09 True hip-hop is out there its just not in America like popular wise. Hilltop Hoods are an Australian hip-hop group and they're popular in the AU and there raps still have that gritty real sound that true hip-hop has. Atmosphere, Sage Francis, Immortal Technique, Cyne for sure, and many others in the states has that (thank God, I dont want our scene to die, never) and its a hope, a chance of fresh truth, and a realization that we will never be subdued to the mainstream and we will be us
