She is just honest when she talks about taking bits of different songs/singers and creating a whole new sound. That's what it is. And I find it very annoying when people nowadays waste so much time with diatribes about who copied who. Cyndi is a true artist because she knew what she's doing with her music and always has. After her last big hit "I Drove All Night", people started to overlook her and her work as if it wasn't relevant anymore when it actually had become more mature (Hat Full of Stars album) and then she gained a little recognition again with the Sisters of Avalon album, in which she had grown so much specially with the lyrics. Well, she is one of my all time favorite artists and I'm glad I was able to introduce my little niece to such an amazing artist through great music and creative videos. Thanks, Cyndi!
