I remember a certain independent record store back in '92 and being there at opening time on the day of this album's release when the proprietor took a stanley knife to the packaging on the box and stated to me "you my son,are the first owner of this album in Edinburgh"....enjoy.11 years ago

Problem with Curve's first album is that after one or two listens the tracks all get a bit 'samey' (intro's, soundeffects, wash of phased guitars, cooed vocals, etc)....and yet on their next album 'Cuckoo' they really went supernova with each track distinctly different from each other - so good in fact that each track could have been a single. "Cuckoo" and "Gift" are Curve's true masterpieces.... :-)13 years ago
