I lol'd at the the sound of indie thing at the beginning. Back then "indie" meant something, today it's just commercialized crap. Anyway, Dean's new band SPC ECO is really good, sounds like curve with more shoegaze and less electronics.

Many people are scared of originality and will only listen to what is forcefed and mainstream. Also lots of people who are not musically inclined cannot hear the melody behind the distortion and just don't get it calling it noise.
