@crazykyle56Honestly, if you really examined the science you would notice the scientific articles supporting intelligent design don't exist. I'm not going to put you on the spot by asking you to cite one. But let me be clear about one important thing - Even though evolution is true, and the big bang happened, that doesn't mean that there is no god who put it all in motion. People who try to tell you that have a poor understanding of science. Mutations themselves may be random as you say, but their cause of change in species over time is not random. Think of it like "Research and development." Edison said he invented "One thousand ways that you cannot make a lightbulb." They all went into the trash. That's like the majority of mutated animals, the mutation doesn't help them, they die, and that's the end of it. But now we have lightbulbs that look nothing like Edison's because we started with the idea that worked and built on it, changing it over time. That would be like a goat's mutation for hooves more suitable to climbing in mountainous areas. He would be far more likely to survive and reproduce, and so would his offspring. So even though the "tinkering with the lightbulb" was random, once a piece is in place, it stays there, so in the end, the process has an organizational logic to it. But listen Kyle, if you are a TRULY big man and are up for a potentially life-changing challenge of intellectual honesty, I recommend the books "Why Evolution is True" and "The Selfish Gene." I took that leap once with an open mind and I now have an appreciation for the beauty and intricacies of this world that I never would have had before. Good luck to you.

i think you were just being nice man. while i agree with the rest of what you said, the face remains that it IS science vs. religion. unless of course science somehow one day proves that there is a god. until then, science, while obviously not its main goal, is always debunking religious beliefs. but hell yeah, keep loving cursive! gonna see these guys in three days for my first time! soo pumpedd

well i believe in god, the big bang, and evolution. none of these things seem to contradict each other much, to me. :) am i that weird? I also do not see why all of this matters, anyway. we all got here somehow, and arguing about something none of us will ever be able to prove one way or another is pointless.

Atheists don't view this topic as science v religion; we don't see it as a fight so much as we happen to debunk your bronze age beliefs (surprise!) You in the religion camp have a term called 'irreducible complexity' which basically means something is too complex to understand it's mechanisms so god must've done it, and when scientists figure it out you guys get pissed. All that shit aside, keep liking cursive, man.

@krazykyle56 One side says random mutations and natural processes, and the other says intelligent design. I believe if you fairly examine the science of life not leaving out any possibilities based on what you want to be true, you will find that life has numerous design implications. Why do many scientists run from the idea of God being the cause for science? I believe it is because man's selfish ways in unrighteousness. They don't want to be judged and want to live in their sin.

@xlovenuggetx I'm not ignoring the implications of science. I'm simply going with where the evidence of science leads me. You atheists like to say it's "science vs religion" to make it seem like you're right because it's science and every person that believes in a higher power is religious. When really, both evolution and creation scientists are examining the same evidence, but both have different interpretations as to what the evidence points to.

@xlovenuggetx You can rebel against your conscious all you want, but you won't be able to hide from God on judgment day. That includes me too. I'm not proud of some of the things I've done in my life. It takes genuine repentance and trusting in the Lord to be saved. I'm not here to name call. I'm not here to win an argument. I'm here to speak the truth because I know the truth, and hopefully others will be touched by the truth and come to know the Lord. God bless you man.

I never mentioned religion. Belief in God isn't necessarily religious. The Bible is a history of a people. Yes, science does point to God. Look at the laws that make up our universe. If any of those laws were to be slighty changed, then life on earth would be impossible. Take a look at DNA. It's like a genetic language. So how do you explain a language coming to form from something non-intelligent? Just look around you man. Nothing can't make anything, no matter how much time you give it.
