At the song "Aleph is the butterfly net" David Tibet says 'It's Kitten time at the GreatCrystalShrine' these songs both reference to this: "Louis XI donna à l’église « un Innocent entier » dans une châsse de cristal. 112»" (at site ht-tp://theses.univ-lyon2.fr/documents/getpart.php?id=lyon2.2000.gabion_c&part=22803 ) if you see at the bottom of the page, you can find the sources. Louis Wain was also in mentalhospital at betlehem, where the innocents were murdered instead of the jesus-child

First C93 song I ever heard. I'll never forget that moment. This band has changed my life in more ways than I'll ever be able to express.

When it gets to this time of night, and sleep is still hiding in the dark corners of the room, only Current 93 can fill the silence adequately.Current 93 - The Bloodbells Chime

That's beautiful that you might see a person that way. I can't think of a more beautiful thing.

Fun Fact: "Louis" is Louis Wain, an English painter who was well known for his drawings of anthropomorphic cats. Both the cats and Louis Wain are recurring motifs in his works (see the Black Ships Ate The Sky album and the Lucifer Over London EP for examples) The verses concerning "Tommy Katkins" reference the Louis Wain painting "Entrenched (A message from Tommy (C)atkins at the Front)" which shows a cat in a trench with a cigarette, a rifle, and an English army hat.

I too used to bash Current 93. In time, his renderings of different perspectives began to grow on me. David Tibet, is amazing. Boyd Rice as well.

Oh man, I still remember talking trash about Current 93 after my initial run-in with them, because I thought that David "can't sing". Silly, silly me))
