that's a various compilation album and not a Current 93 album, besides the Current 93 song is only on the CD version of that comp.

I'm still mesmerized as to how David managed to join Doug and Tony in his band. :D

i think tibet is just interested in religion period. he reads a lot of gnostic apocolyptic literature, he is apparently interested in the end of the world! regardless i'm sure his "faith" is more a term more to describe his current reading habbits, as he has switched dramatically from different religions. who knows. still, it does help to make him a badass writer.

Or 'something like that'. Yes, it's the unicursal hexagram. Pick up a copy of "The Book of Thoth" and learn a thing or two.

It's a unicursal hexagram or something like that, a "crowleyan" symbol.

Yes, that's Tony. Those were great times for the underground British musicians. Hell, back then almost all of them were buddies, now, years after the World Serpent thing both Douglas and David are on bad terms. I also agree about C93's current stuff; I really didn't like "Black Ships..."

I agree. Not necessarily because it's Christian (at least David has a fairly novel approach to the theology -- one that often involves a healthy amount of LSD), but because his voice just DOES NOT FIT in an acoustic/folk context. The guy can't sing, and worse yet, he tries to make up for that by "sing-speaking" in a nauseatingly melodramatic fashion. I dig David; but I really hope he'd go back to doing the stuff he could pull off.

In the booklet of "SixSixSix:SickSickSick", where the studio material from Looney Runes is featured, David wrote: "I have removed the live material recorded in Tokyo in 1988 as I do not wish to listen to it ever again". That's sad, because this track is awesome.
