from Current 93's "Black Ships ate the Sky".

And am I born to die?

To lay this body down!

And must my trembling spirit fly

Into a world unknown?

A land of deepest shade,

Unpierced by human thought

The dreary regions of the dead,

Where all things are forgot.

Soon as from earth I go

What will become of me?

Eternal happiness or woe,

Must then my portion be!

Waked by the trumpet sound,

I from my grave shall rise;

And see the Judge with glory crowned,

And see the flaming skies!

God, I just love Oldham's appreciation for neofolk, drone, industrial and ambient. I definitely think it's what helps give his particular brand of folk the sort of pessimistic, dark fun it has. Like Coil, but filtered through the Appalachian Mountains! There Is No God / God Is Love / Love Under Will Shall Be the Whole of the Law

Men go bald - it's a sign of masculinity - I don't think it affect song-writing ability (though it could improve it!)...

Nope, he is Will Oldham, the singer. Nietzsche has never been so bald :)
