Their voices aren't alike at all, and this is not a good cover of Loretta's song. I'm really glad she found her own style because Loretta had her own style which just didn't happen to suit Crystal that much. She is pitchy in this, and just ruins the song!!!!

Speaking of voices, Crystal's two older sisters (Loretta and Peggy Sue) sound very much alike. Hard to distinguish sometimes between the two in their early recordings. Crystal, however, went on to develop her own middle-of-the-road (MOR) style which allowed her to crossover between country and pop.

DOn't agree on the fact their voice would be similar. They aren't at all. In those early days she started singing Loretta's song... and din't have much success. Since she quitted as advised her sister singing her songs (style), moved to from Decca to UA and found her own style with producer Allen Reynolds, worked her voice she found success and the career of her own we know!

@FORTBAXTER I agree, although i prefer Susan Raye's version. It don't matter though, all 3 ladies were very talented and very lovely.

Don't think this from a Wilburn Brothers Show. Looks more a set from Jim Ed Brown's Country Place. At one second into the video, you see some walking off the set who has just introduced her.
