I am not a huge country music fan. But Crystal Gayle is not only amazingly beautiful, but also seems like a genuinely nice woman as well. I know this is an older video, but if you see any of her more recent videos, she really is starting to look like Yvonne DeCarlo who was Lily Munster on the Munsters. Yvonne DeCarlo was really beautiful as well. Also, Lynda Carter who played Wonder Woman also looks like Yvonne DeCarlo now as well. I can only hope I look as amazing as these women when I get older as well.

@lawknoxville Big question... several reasons I think. I would first say that because she likes it. Second read or heard in an interview, she says she saw an other girl with knee length hair so she tried to grow it that length, and didn't stopped till the floor. It finally became her trademark because she always has been admired for her beautiful long hair even when she had it less long. And at start during the 70's long hair was fashion, so sh started like this, and easier: wash & go.

@sweetlife031 I think I have uploaded around 300 Crystal Gayle's video... I'm sure we can find much more to upload again... I wish like you more people would know how she is a wonderful and tatended person, but may be it is a little bit late now... Sorry the hair videos are not the most interesting, but they are funny.

Although Crystal's hair is her trademark - and I am memerized by it - it's not really the reason I admire her. It's because of the loving, caring and giving person that she is <3 She is a wonderful lady....and I feel that if more and more videos of her get uploaded....people that don't know of her soon will :) I know I am lucky lol

I love Crystal, but not because of her hair. Because of her wonderful voice and singing that has brought so much joy to so many, and because she has remained so sweet and humble throughout her fame. I actually got to meet her briefly after a concert of hers near Fresno, CA a couple of years ago and she was as genuine and nice as she could be.
