"Crystal Blue Persuasion" is a 1969 song originally recorded by Tommy James and the Shondells and composed by Eddie Gray, Tommy James and Mike Vale.
A gentle-tempoed groove, "Crystal Blue Persuasion" was built around a prominent organ part with an understated arrangement, more akin to The Rascals' sound at the time than to James's contemporary efforts with psychedelic rock. It included melodic passages for an acoustic guitar, as well as a bass pattern, played between the bridge, and the third verse of the song.

"Crystal Blue Persuasion" has appeared in the films A Walk on the Moon (1999), The Secret Life of Girls (1999), Zodiac (2007) , "The Nanny Diaries" (2007), and How to Make it in America (2010). The song is also featured in the movie The Expendables 2 (2012), while Barney (Sylvester Stallone) is flying his plane.

"awesome job" peruven!!! This is such a mellowed out song, just kick back, lay back & let the music fill U. =) Memories never felt this good. Sometimes we have to go back to our roots, to find ourselves once again, thank U for taking me back! EXcellent, beautiful job. Had to become a subcriber...I just started back last September for my husband/soul mate & my 30th wedding anniversary. I wanted to make a video for him, I didn't quite know how to make one, so one of my beautiful daughter's helped mom learn, but she's a HUGE WWE fan along with her other siblings. So, I learned how to make a video doing it for WWE. A little old (lol) to be doing WWE, but than again, I think I'm a little old to do a LOT of things I do, & that's even with being completely disabled (dependent on my family-God bless them) & having cancer. I "LOVE" life, & U "brought" life back into this ole' body once more!!! =) Thanks so much for playing this song, & well done I may add once again. I'm getting ready to make what my kids call a "crack" video...my 1st. Hope I can do it justice. As U have in this song. Have U now hooked up/subcribed, so I may see what else U came up with.
