The band was formed in 1992 in Helsinki, Finalnd, under the name Preprophecy. In 1996 the drummer and the bassist quit the band, and when new ones joined, the band changed its name to Ravensfall. Then once again a new drummer and bassist joined and the band was known as Cryhavoc since. Later on they split up, I don't know exactly when, but I think it was around 2000 or something, as their last album was released in 1999. They released two studio albums, called Sweetbriers and Pitch Black Blues.
