This cool song popped in my head last night, remember my girlfriend at the time hated this song. Its still cool, if you like this song, you'll like the Mavericks even more.

Interesting bit of history here. My mother claims the bike Motorcycle Girl is riding was hers way back when. Says she has pictures too. I have yet to see them myself, but that would be interesting if it were true.

Yeah, this album is hard to find. I do remember this song and video. I love it very much.

I've looked high and low for Cruzados albums but without luck. Can't find them. I discovered they recorded three albums beginning in 1984 only two of which were released: Cruzados and After Dark. In this recording of "Motorcycle Girl" I'm particularly taken with the quiet Fender Strat player. I like his playing and the comfort he demonstrates with what he's playing. Very cool. Nothing complicated but a lot of fun to listen to. He will be replaced on the second album, After Dark, by a player named Marshall Rohner who will die of an AIDS related illness.

Dig the gal. The chop with apes and upswept fishtail pipes ain't bad, either. This is still king tone.

I wonder if there was a 'grito' in min, 2:45 originally? Would have been great! Really adds to the song later on!

Watching 1995's Antonio Banderas 'Desperado' film and seeing Tito Larriva in that movie always reminds me of 'the Cruzados' in the late 80s'.These guys were a god-send back in late 80's to know that Latinos/Hispanic could 'crank it' in the Rock & Roll Department. This MTV video and the 'lost' one for 'Bed of Lies' led me to see this band live in 1987 at San Diego's Bacchanal (in Kearny Mesa) which was packed to the gills that Night. Awesome performance from a band 10 ft. away.
