Lost in The Fog
Personally prefer the reissue. It has more of a present sound and feels so much more natural and meaning full. Also I'm not a fan of all the vocal effects and electronic sounds, just not my thing, and I much prefer the breakdow on the reissue. As for the screams, I feel like Andy has a more aggressive and stabbing sort of sound which I like but Dave has more depth to his screams, either works for me, that's why they are awesome to see live. Also I think vocals are just better in general on the reissue, more time, money and training. But hey that's my personal opinion, I'm not right, I'm not wrong, it's just my personal opinion. XP Don't go tearing me a new asshole for it lol.10 years ago

Someone said that they became arrogant. And I understand what he means. In their debut EP they had this "arena rock hardcore" sound, it was really original. Then Dave joined in and they recorded The Fallout, it was just so different. When they rereleased Limitless, I didn't really recognize them, it was less aggressive and Austin wasn't with the band to add this unique electronic vibe. And when I listened to TRROTR, it was the time I realized it : they're just not the same. Less screaming vocals, less synths (synths are mostly replaced by acoustic instruments played by additional musicians and it sounds so strange for post-hardcore), and influences from many other styles. They still have very good songs, but I miss their old sound as a local band... I can't believe how they changed.10 years ago

I love David. But I personally like the sound / key / mix / everything better in this version. I love Andy's screams too, but I love David's as well. All of it's CTE, and I'm just happy with how far they've come. I won't argue with anyone over what versions are better cause it's still CTE. Still good. 10 years ago

I feel like I'm the only one who likes the reissue version better, the one thing I think tops the reissue is the harmonies in the chorus. Don't get me wrong, both versions are fucking sick, I just feel like the reissue has a more natural sound. 10 years ago
