I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Ajax. He was a great man & human being. He brought so much joy & love to others. Now we've lost Ajax, Bert & Raymond Reid. Heaven wil glow a little brighter because of these brothers. We shall miss Ajax, Bert, & Raymond;but the great music they have left us shall forever remind us that for one brief shining moment we were blessed to have had them & their genius. Godspeed Ajax,Bert, & Raymond.

Ajax is still doing his thing, singing, dancing and playing his trumpet. I had the distinct opportunity to hear and talk to him at length last night. He still brings a highly entertaining, funk-d- fied good time. Catch him when he plays in NY, you'll have a great time.

You can still catch Ajax gigging out here in Brooklyn & sometimes Ray Reid & Morris Price at special parties. I see that Ajax was funny back then too, he's a funny brother. And don't y'all forget about "Leave The Kids Alone"!!! That & "Super Rod" were some funky jams when I was about 13. Too bad that RCA didn't know what to do with the brothers or Soul music in general! CHA & B.T. Express were certainly Brooklyn's finest! @ goldspout, man, "Shake Your Body" was no joke back in 77.
