One of their many great tunes. I wonder who put together the Reality Bites soundtrack (this is on it) - Love it.

Paul had left the band at this stage. I think the drummer was from Sheryl Crow's band who were touring with Crowded House in '94.

Well as much as I love them boys I think it was overdone. Neil sang and performed great but not once did you see Paul playing the drums. Trying to crack America is a hard thing and I think the band showed the world what they were about but if I were their producer at the time, I would have toned things down just a bit and showcased the entire band and not just the paid help.

Love that Dave gave the "unbelievably good" endorsement of Together Alone :)

why are they not popular in the U.S.??? i have not figured that out, other than their song "Chocolate Cake" which put kinda put down the U.S. but who cares? we here do it too! Neil Finn is one of the best songwriters and musicians of all time, and I want him and Crowded House to be known and popular here, as well as in the U.K., New Zealand, and Australia, among other countries.

Makes you wonder why the song was not a massive hit in the states... or why it doesn't get played on Aussie radio that much any more? :(

The backing band gave the song so much justice! And the vocal harmonies. I'm glad Neil allowed everyone to get in on the fun

Man this is completely kick ass, the very best performance a crowd anywhere could ask for, they gave they`re all on this tune and it came across right. I always been a big crowded house fan since the early 90`s. Neil Finn is a songwriting genius and the band should have been far bigger in the states then they became. I`m one american who has all there cd`s and still a big fan. Long Live Crowded House!

This is the first time they played after Paul left the band... as you can see... Neil is a bit down in spirits. They headed to Toronto right after where they played with a replacement drummer - great show still - with Nick teaching him the songs as they went.

my two favourite bands, which are crowded house and a-ha, are both underrated in America, and i think both bands definately deserve more recognition !!.

That is possibly the best version of Locked Out I ever, ever, ever heard. Wow. Thanks for sharing this gem.
