First saw him solo in 70...first time I got blown away at a show.....and I've seen a bunch of shows...then I got blown away recently similarly by Ana Popovic last month or so.....check her out...like SVR on Strat and sings like Tina T...and better legs...will see SS again solo in San Fran next month....can't wait to get blown away again

nobody's got this amazing voice, pretty looks and feel of guitar picking joined in just 1 person. he's a case on his own, unfortunately for himself I suspect him to be a case for himself, but I never met him.

So says the guy who sat it all out and never served a day in his life.If you never served leave it for those that did and just quietly enjoy your freedoms.I DID serve BTW, USMC Huey helicopter mechanic and doorgunner. Semper Fi. Semper shut-the-fuck-up

A guy asked me if i knew what tuning he's using. Just a 'drop D', not an open D chord. Note that he's still playing the G and F chords and D7 as usual. but he's got that low D note on top that adds the old funky swamp assed cool shit to it.
