I hear ya, but they really are two different entities in music. One is hyped up big business glitz and formulaic pop and the other is thoughtful, often patient rock played from raw talent and a love of genre blending and playing with sounds. As long as big business rules our lives, the big marketing beasts will always gather the most fans. People listen to what they are exposed to - a lot of people simply don't know anything of the stuff we do, through no real fault of their own.

@diedahero i dont know any of those bands and id be very happy indeed if this vid had over 300 million views as it would mean there would be alot more people listening to and being influenced by this band, i would mean that record companies would take greater risks and stop trying to control music and, most importantly, it would mean i wouldnt have to waste time reading and responding to hypocritical comments from you. although i will admit "fuck off and die" was a bit strong, now fuck off.
