Holy shit! What an amazing song! I'm so glad that I discovered this band. I'm only on my second tune & I know that I will have to delve much deeper. Thank you!

Music needs some sort of mold, man. Just because it's a structure we've all heard before doesn't make it less potent, as long as it's executed well, and it totally is here. All the build-ups and all the climaxes are immensely effective.

I dont know much about music theory, i go more by intuition, but saying that. I tought about the piano as providing structure for the rest of the instruments to develop. Much like percussions o the bass sometimes does. Its the one thing that's repeating itself so the song has a coherent narrative. I cant hear it right now cause im at school. Though your commentary made me wonder. Thanks for the detaiiled answer

Predictable because they follow a certain formulaic pattern, your typical piano loop intro/verse/chorus/piano loop intro/verse/chorus/extended middle eight/ piano loop outro. I can see the Pro tools arrange window now, all perfectly timed and paint by numbers. With that I never said "sloppy" I said "lazy", there is a difference. This sounds like a side project, that gets back burner attention. Its like they are publishing the first draft, being too lazy to finish the product. It could be more.
