If someone wants to know what is Teddy Boy Rock And Roll, I always play this song (and "Boogie Bop Dame" from Crepes & Drapes too). Just listen to the rhythm section. It's not 50's, it's not the Stray Cats (I like them by the way), it is the music where I come from. We used to call that "British Rockabilly", but it's a non sense knowing that this type of sound, this type of flavor, comes now from Finland, Norway, Germany, Sweden, The Nederlands, France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Japan (!), etc.. Just good old RNR... with a different kind of spice. My spice for sure. 12 years ago
