@andrewdiass The original melody was produced in the early '80s by Pino D'angio, and then popularized in the late '90s by Madison Avenue. Being 22, I can say that Madison Avenue's version was pretty massive back in the day, but I couldn't tell you whether the original ever made it that big until she brought the tune to MTV.. i see why people aren't too fond of this song on laptops etc, saying it's repetitive and all, or that they've heard this riff before (who hasn't?). But in a club, when the dj drops this track, people will go crazy cos it's so catchy and recognisable,
