Emphasis on Subhumans, because they kick buttocks.

Actually Sex Pistols and The Clash suck sooo... BETTER examples of UK punk would be Discharge, Crass, Conflict, Flux of Pink Indians, Subhumans, Stiff Little Fingers, G.B.H., U.K. Subs, The Damned, and The Exploited. Sex Pistols and The Clash are the reasons we got "punk" bands like Green Day and Blink-182. They popularised punk and made it accessible to the masses, a.k.a. POP"punk".

@VengefulRonin Better then this, I believe you are sorely mistaken, Crass influenced the individual thing. America has good punk Bad brains, Dead Kennedy's, The Vandals (early shit) Dead boys, Richard hell, Canada has good punk D.O.A. , Dayglo Abortions and Britain has good punk Pistols, The Clash, The Damned, the Varukers, the exploited (Scotland) and Crass, it is good everywhere, and it most definitely isn't a fucking popularity contest.

incidently fat john was apparently "managing" the band... cheap excuse to get in the papers, a load of travellers were in that night, and oddly (ha ha) a load of heavy duty football casuals turned up... didnt take much to figure out who phoned them.... the words FAT and JOHN come to mind. a funny story tho was exploited's top of pops appearance. a woman down the dole who signed them on saw them on it, and got them busted for it! fuk!

@khoroshoorange tho i did like a few exploited tunes.. it was having met a few times that fat bastrd that played with them, thug. i kept getting my beer nickt at a gargeleblood gig (jondo's band) & after the 3rd beer got took i told the guy who did the taking not to, he pulled out a knife, fat john who as the bouncer that night, PUSHED ME DELIBERATLY into the knife, then a junkie deliberatly walkt in front of knife coz he knew he wudnt feel it, and john kikt his hed in and threw him out. WANKER

Anarchy & peace promote the Crass / It ain't for freedom it's just for cash / They don't mean what they say / What they preach there is no way! Crass were first to say "punk is dead" / Now they're rightly labelled as being red / Commune hippies, that's what they are / They've got no money? Ha! Ha! Ha!
