Yeah i understand you, COF is a great band because Dani Filth is a fucking genius and one of the best poets i've ever knew. Their lyrics are full of double meanings and weird old english expressions and many many references to many literature characters, demons and history personalities. But, if you know that this album is all about countess Bathory, it should be easier for you to understand it. Read more about Bathory and you will see how perfect and metaphoric are these lyrics, oh my God!
