I don't care if people like old Cradle, or hate New cradle, or love new Cradle or hate old Cradle, but I love both the old and new. Sure the screaming can sound annoying for you, but for me, it is awesome. So I couldn't care less. I love all of the albums, and none of the songs are "Shitty". I love all of them. =)

Indeed, Haggard isn't my cup of tea, but since I never liked their music, I cannot say they dumbed it down or transformed their music with despicable developments, so I simply say that I dont like it, not that it's shit. Whereas the new CoF, compared to the old one, is definitively a piece of shit.

"Since I was a little girl". Hence my first album ever was when I was eight years old holding Cruelty and the Beast on the month of its release . I have then since proudly owned and loved every album. Sure, Cruelty, Dusk and Her Embrace and even Damnation and a Day will reign supreme, but that does not by any means that their albums are shit. I listened to that bullet thing, and I find it insulting. I'll go replace that with some Haggard, probably a band you would find "shit" anyway.

Instead, he's now got stupid lyrics, cheesy synthe melodies right from cheap B movies and guitar riffs that Green Day or Nickelback could have come up with. That's what I call "dumb it down". You love them since you're a little girl... this means that you never knew them at the apex of their glory, or you're still a little girl and therefore you should stick to new CoF and Bullet for my Valentine ;)

Your comment is very touching, but nonetheless ridiculous. I'm a big fan of the early CoF. I discovered them when they were still roaming the british underground scene and each of their albums had been a mind bomb... up to "cruelty and the beast". Then, Dani changed. He didnt just make things more symphonic: he cut down the guitar riffs and technicity, got rid of the punk influences, eased down the songs that used to have so many changes in rythm and stopped researching poetic lyrics.

Just because Dani grew up and decided that melodic and symphonic sounds sounded better instead of the black metal scene doesn't make his music "shit". Because frankly, that is all he actually did- was make things more symphonic. Besides why even listen to this "shitty" song, just to be rude to people who like it? I honestly feel bad for musicians. Damned if they change and damned if they don't. I've loved CoF since I was a little girl, and no album was "shit" in my eyes.

I think that "Cradle of Filth" has evolved their sound, from"The Principle of Evil Made Flesh" to "Darkly, Darkly Venus Aversa", in fact any album could be better or fail, that depends of each one like public. Each album have different things and fabolous sounds. I love the success and the fails of they, i think in this 20 years since 1991, they have been the inspiration for many genres in the Metal like Black and Goth.
