NOSTALGIA. I have been reading Keith's book "Life" a chapter at a time as I have time. I just finished the chapter that talks about the formation of the band, the first year "The Rollin' Stones" performed in clubs. Keith talks about their blues / rhythm and blues / jazz influences of the songs they performed. Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry and Muddy Waters were their biggest influences, and thank goodness for that. The first time I heard them perform this song was on "Love Ya Live", but it was performed a lot in the early years of the band. ENJOY the boys doing this Bo Diddley song. #RollingStones #BoDiddley

There's something so special 'bout these early 60s songs. The melody, the sound of the gutars... things musicians can't do anymore thanks to technology.

This is when the Stones were the real deal. Not the corporate sponsored, arena darlings that bankers and executives buy tickets for today.
