I've probably watched this a hundred times over the years. I love it. Thank you for making it. IUntil I saw this, I always loved this song and thought the big dipper was a metaphor for the ups and downs of life, but I never realized it was a roller coaster. I'm a little slow on the uptake. Lines like "dull turnstyle" and "before their turn came" made more sense, and made me feel like an idiot for not picking up on it. This is Lowery's best song with Cracker, in my opinion. I treasure this one, and just about everything on CVB's Key Lime Pie.

they built one of these at Geauga Lake in Ohio as well. from the video it looks to be the same roller coaster. I imagine it was the same design company. although, from the top you can't see much of anything in Geauga lake. I can't imagine where it would have to be situated in order to see an entire city. Must be a California thing.
