It's not the smell in here that gets to me; it's the lights -- I hate the shadows they cast. And the sound of clinking bottles is the one sure thing I'll drag with me from my past. I think I'll find a pair of eyes tonight to fall into, and maybe strike a deal: your body for my soul? Fair swap... 'cause cheap is how I feel.#JennyLinskyPresents

Instead of singing(too weak a voice), she should get into modeling. Beautiful.

WOW, I can not hear all the words, gonna google this one.. but the way she sings it.. I am certain it is about pain!

You've only said out loud what most of us have been secretly thinking :-)

Now, if only she'd lose the husband so I can be her love slave...oops, did I say that out loud. :)

Of course, the Caution Horses(on which this song is the second track) was released in 1990, I believe, though floatijo might have it confused with their first album, The Trinity Session, released in either 88 or 89. All I know is that I first saw Margo and the band on Saturday Night Live, and I've been in love with her voice ever since.

A gorgeous song sung by a beautiful chanteuse who interprets it perfectly. My favorite CB Junkie song. Thanks for posting, twb026!

Is there anything cooler than duct tape holding bits of your Strat together?

Glad you like it, but their music spans time without any connection to the 80s. You can play that album today and it has no connection to the 80s whatsoever, unlike that synthesized crap you can identify in a nanosecond that it was from the soulless 80s. :-)

I love this era for this band. Something magical was happening for them, and myself.

If I were going to make a mover called "Clinical Depression", I would ask the Cowboy Junkies to do the music.
