The Dutch band started in 1985 as The Aces and was later renamed Dixie Aces. The name Dixie Aces refers to the southern U.S. where country and rock and roll music originated. Besides the above genres includes the instrumental guitar music to the repertoire of this band. Major performances follow each other in rapid succession. In Ahoy Rotterdam and the MECC in Maastricht, the band opened for Fats Domino.
