This is my favorite Counting Crows song since "A Long December" and probably my favorite video of at least the last 10 years. Awesome animation and story.

You're my favorite band, and I've spent thousands and thousands of dollars on you (no small feat for a peasant), but you seem to be falling into the same pattern that ruined Cracker.. an album full of greatness, but with horrific single choices.The Golden Age was brilliant.. except for the one song that the label poured their money into.. (I Hate my Generation).. For fucks sake.. "God of Ocean Tides" should have been the single from this album. Followed by Possibility Days. Yes they aren't uplifting. That's fine, they don't have to be. Mass appeal vs focused individual appeal.American Girls was a good single before it got mixed. Ms. Potter's Lullaby was a fine choice if it had originally been 4 minutes long, but butchering it was not a good idea. Cowboys should have been your radio single from SNSM, (or Sundays) Not because it's my favorite (which it is), but I think it would have had much better mass appeal if marketed correctly (2008 wasn't the best time for online single marketing, even if Radiohead did it), but your old label chose arguably the weakest song from that album... sigh..I'm only frustrated because I think the real talent is being masked behind shitty marketing decisions.Cracker should have marketed "I'm a Little Rocketship" from The Golden Age... It wouldn't have been huge, but they wouldn't have damaged the career the way they did.
