I like this better now, I don't have all those distractions in my life I had when this album first came out... it was the first studio album that came out that I wasn't sure I liked, but there's always albums like that, and then you find the gems later, loved "Washington Square"... and this song is really nice...

"When everything's over,Everything's Clear. When everyone's older,No one is here."This rings so true to life as I know it.

Counting Crows. Covering all my moods. Within the space of a two a girl sent me from Accidentally In Love to this.

I always wonder why a band doesn't have a song on their vevo when they clearly created a video.

I love his songs. I also know that Adam is the kind of guy who writes these type of songs. The women won't stay and that is why we are able to hear these soulful song from him. We benefit, I wonder if he does?

Makes me wish that more people appreciated the subtle art that creating music is, the lyrics, the emotion, the way the melody has to harmonize with that emotion... the quality in a voice that sings with conviction, or the way a note played by someone feeling a song just hits you differently, almost a symphonic experience seeing them play live. Thank you for resonating with all of us....

I wouldn't be surprised if this song was about Gemma Hayes. For starters, she's from Ireland, to which there are obvious references (Dublin, Stevens Greens). It's also similar in nature to Hazy (Hayes-y) which they wrote together and Adam sang live in 2003... In that song Adam kept crying out -- "Could you tell me why you're leaving?" Interesting thing is, Gemma had just left their tour 2 days earlier. Guess where they were at that time? Yup... Amsterdam! The day was Tuesday, Feb 4 2003 :)
