Yeah, I'm a musician too (you can see me play on my channel) and I've played for my share of audiences. I have had some way more powerful expeariences with audiences that were quiet during the song, reacting appropriately to things that went well, and giving each song an ovation at the end that matched the performance of the song. I've also played in bars where people were up and dancing, and clearly not as connected to the band cause they cheer for shit, and miss stuff thats good.

same here i had front row seats on the left side in milwaukee and i just sat back and relaxed and really just enjoyed and loved the music in my own way

Pretty sure it's annoying for the band too. I was at this show (standing of course) and Adam motioned for everyone to stand up in the beginning. Many did but of course as the show progressed sat down. I'm a musician and it's annoying playing for a bunch of people sitting down!

So why are there seats and the most expensive sound equipment available? I've seen a lot of shows, and the best bands I like to really concentrate on listening not putting on a side show. You may be movved to dance constantly, I am moved in a different way. Can we agree that our own way is the right way for us?
