I've been thinking that this song is about the choice to either live life or to just lose yourself in internet addiction. He's comparing the glass of a computer screen to an aquarium and the diving into it is like becoming absorbed in what you read there. And I guess earthquake driving is like making an impact on the world somehow, and he's debating whether to be happy feeding his addiction or going out and doing something with his life9 years ago
