Named after "Shorty" George Snowden, one of the very first persons to dance the Lindy Hop. The "Shorty George" move is one where you bend your knees,walk forward with arms at your sides, index fingers pointing down and alternately bending your arms at the elbow. He had a sense of dancing humor and probably created it to emphasize his shortness. But it can look funky on anyone.
