Surprisingly pirates were pretty chill about the whole sodomy situation. They even had a version of gay marriage called matelotage and in one area the gay marriage was so popular that in order to combat it the governor imported a shipboard of prostitutes. Which led to polyamory.Because pirates weren't having any of that vanilla lifestyle bullshit.
