Quid hoc? It's a German accent and Corvus Corax is a German band. Et tu, puer, deficere, cum Graecia.

Till this day, I bithered my self with tiny problems of every days life. From now on, I will bother my self only with problems that affects me in much wider measure.

@VolkColopatrion It's very sad indeed. Music is so fragile... I remember a cd that I have, from Naxos. It's called "The music of the Bible Revealed". A musicologist invested ten years of research to decypher the notation used by ancient Jewish people to sing the Old Testament songs, like the Psalms and others. It's like a time machine. I hope somebody is working on the Sumerian songs also! :)

if you look at the actual music you'll notice that it's far more cheerful than this.

@solnegrolunaroja it's the oldest COMPLETE song we know with interpretable notation. there are older sumarian songs but we only have fragments and probably with little to no knowledge of what scales or notation they used. Greek music theory, curiously, has survived not only in history but also in western music.

"And he who seen these noble ruins at the end of his dark life. Asks himself; where is horse? where is men? where the feast? where the joy? A last bright cup, a last proud prince, our time has past as it has not been."
