You are seeing genre when I feel something deeper. You live a life we can all listen to the music that moves us and feel or relate it somehow to a piece of the long path we all call fuckin life. I love this song more because of a man and a life I had to walk away from with a heart that even now almost 2 years later is breaking at the thought of him. Enjoy. COC needs no praise but has it they are an incredible band. Thank you to them.

A sweet dark ballad. Loving this, don't think I heard this song by them before. It has a country guitar twang in the background too. Probably the most mellow song by CoC I've heard, beautiful as hell.

Definitely my favorite CoC song right here. Been singing to myself this since high school.

Two songs I've been hooked by right from the get go when I started listening to their stuff I still can't keep out of my head, Pearls Before Swine & Diablo Blvd. But everything I've heard by them is great. And they sound excellent live.

Mesmerizing, enchanting. The whole damn album is good. Got mine in "95," only 13 or 14 yrs old. Love this one & "Clean my Wounds," especially.

I've listened to a lot of different music. This is the only song I've had people approach me and say "I could see you singing this to me." - I can't disagree. Never have I ever heard a song that I felt a stronger connection to in my life. I'm a relatively new fan of the CoC fold, and I like everything I've heard, but for some reason, this song, on an auditory and poetic level just hits me harder than anything else.

I am primarily a bassist, with guitar being my second instrument, and what I do is I try to find the root note and whether the chord is major, minor, sus2, or sus4 and then I move the fingerings to where they make the most sense. So for that really strange D9/F# chord, I found that the F# is the bass note, then I played a D chord on top of it, and then I modified the shape so that it sounded right.

The chord changes are (in order of the pattern) Am G6 D9/F# G6. To play the G6, the fretted notes (low to high) are 3 2 0 0 3 0. The D9/F# is fretted like so: 2 0 0 2 1 0.
