Am I the only one who thinks Reed was on acid in that interview? Probably not the right person to give the mic...

Don't give in, live the sin - let them see the sight There's no answer in the end - live free, fall or fight Keep in mind, that you'll find them standing in the way Run them down to the ground - make the guilty pay And there'll be no more deadly dance End their idiot prance The dance of the dead It's all in their heads

2 years late, but I'll reply anyway. Karl Agell has a great voice and was justifiably well-suited for the Blind album. Other than that, I feel Pepper is the superior singer/songwriter/musician. His works with both C.o.C. and Down are awesome and stand the test of time. I listen to C.o.C. daily (nothing befor "Blind" and nothing after "In the Arms of God") and LOVE most of their music. Conversely, I admit there a number of songs that I think are awkard and I "skip" them when they come on MP3.

You have recently posted several comments. Enter the text in the image to continue posting. FUCK OFF YOUTUBE IT WAS MY THIRD COMMENT! Avoiding a % of spam by making honest users have to type in 5 captchas per 7 comments, if not more, is taking the fucking piss. Come on, if an auto-spammer got past ONE captcha why would the other ones stop them? Better to implement an IQ test on sign-up to avoid the asinine comments that are so rife on this site! Like this if you agree, please!

But you're right about the 'not on purpose' way that some artists and myself, sure, manage to copy riffs by accident - there's only so many chord progressions, scales and frets on a fretboard. Right, I'm off to tune up my cousin's Epiphone SG and thrash out some Down riffs, on purpose, haha!

@MADRAVN420 Ok, but YOU think it through... Kyuss were and are a fucking prominent band, in 1995 they supported Metallica who personally know Pepper Keenan -all in all, are you saying that Pepper would have avoided listening to Kyuss? Unlikely, ESPECIALLY given his apparent taste in rock/metal (=Sabbath-y). Who the fuck are Dark Lady and why would L7 have listened to them? Kyuss are more famous than L7 by some significant degree these days. Add it all up, I'm right. Usually am... *shrugs*.
