I love this song but I have a feeling there is another version,a later version that I feel is better than this. Thing is I cant remember the singer who did it, Was thinking it could be Dolly Parton or Kenny Roggers but no its not. I love this version though.

Actually, the original title was "Tip of My Fingers." It was written and originally performed by Bill Anderson. At any rate, there's really no need for that kind of language.

Bill Anderson wrote this song and recorded it first and did a fantastic job singing it and Conway does also. There was another recording artist by the name of Nick Noble that sang this also and it's hard to believe but he was the best on this song. Problem is you can't find it on youtube to listen to it. I have it on an old 33 rpm record.
