On this day in 1960 {May 13th} the movie "Platinum High School" opened in theaters across the U.S.A. Co-starring in the movie along with Conway Twitty were Mickey Rooney, Terry Moore, & Dan Duryea... The movie theme didn't make the charts; at the time of the film's release Conway was on Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart with "What Am I Living For", it peaked at #26... R.I.P. Mr. Twitty {1933 - 1993} and Mr. Rooney will celebrate his 93rd birthday this coming September 23rd...

conway lived in helena, arkansas and i have been trying to find the movie platinum high that he was in but noone knows how to find it. i wish his children would release it to his fans.

Heavens to Murgatroid! Quite a catchy tune! Had never heard of it before today. I'd love to see the movie "Platinum High" someday!
