What i miss, is that artists in the 80's(thats the era I've devoted the most time too) used to have songs relating to important life sustaining issues, on main stream radio. That's NOT what I hear on the radio today. We have been shifted by outer influences to focus on obtaining material things and sex. I'm going with the changes, reluctantly.

This could be an anthem for where we are going as a country right now. Where are America's dreams she once had?

@Gregor Greg Are you kidding me??? Do you know ANYTHING about music? Kenny Loggins is a classic. He was part of the 70s-80s music you talked about. This song and ever other song he has WRITTEN is top-notch. He is an amazing example of what music should still be, what artists today should strive for. Kenny Loggins is amazing and you should be ashamed for putting him in the catagory of 'today's music.' Like all 70s-80s music, Kenny Loggins' songs are timeless.

Why is all music today so melodically boring, uncreative, bland, and forgetful? What happened to melodic creativity that was in songs of the 60s, 70s, and 80s? I miss good music. Today, all songs sound alike. They just take the words and sing them, with no melodic integrity. The lyrics are fine in this song, but the melody could have been created by anyone. Boring, uncreative, and forgetful.

Now I know why I love listening to Kenny Loggins. Even though I am from Pakistan. I feel the same way. We all need love. But we all need to understand love itself. God bless everyone. :'- (

ONE EARTH ONE SKY ONLY ONE WORLD WE'VE ONLY GOT ONE CHANCE TO LIVE THIS ONE LIFE - Kenny Loggins I blessed a Charity Event for The Las Vegas Rescue Mission in 2000 with a Fashion Show Extravaganza Day of Talent and Local Acts for Christmas and the building of a play ground for The Homeless Children in the community. This was THE SONG I chose to use for the Grand Finally and it ALWAYS makes me cry, till THIS very DAY I would have given You an A+ But Who am I , another Mortal describing 1

End the war. I like this. It bothers me that the anti-war protests have suddenly ended. Just because the administration has changed does not mean that the troops have all come home. We need these wars ended. Bring our troops home.
