Metalcore is not my thing at all, but this is one hell of a cover. As far as I am concerned covers should provide a different take on the original, a twist, or offer something new totally. I love The Cure but I would sooner take this as a cover version than how dreadful a cover of 'World In My Eyes' by Depeche Mode that The Cure did.

i don't know how often they do this live. . . but they did it at This is Hardcore last year, and that was some crazy shit.

I have always loved the Cure before I listened to converge. This made me love converge just as much, and appreciate things a little more after I had an opportunity to see them live, had to to pass it up because I worked. Same thing happened years later, but with the Cure. This song just pulls things out of you. Music nazis and trolls can go fuck themselves.

I loved the instrumentals in this cover. You guys are obvious talented and I can appreciate that. You're vocalist also sounds talented as well, however I had a hard time hearing the dude. Albeit I have been to Afghanistan a few times now, been neara few explosions. So my hearing isn't all that good. Am I the only one here?

It is Brodsky. Cave In also contributed Plain Song to the compilation this track originally appears on.

The vocals at 4 sound like Stephen Brodsky of cave-in, who was, very briefly, the bassist for converge. So it's probably him

Converge is my favorite band, but I started out listening to bands like The Cure, and lemee tell you something. Converge ain't an easy band to get into. But that doesn't make them bad. They're kinetic, and violent, and have truely AMAZING songwriting, musicianship and technical abilities. Jacob Bannon is a huge fan of The Cure.
